Introduction WSP has a unique consulting organization that works in teams across a wide range of infrastructure, permitting, and water issues. We manage complex projects, often in interdisciplinary forms, and together we solve the challenges of the future.

Our department for Environment & Cultural Heritage consists of a wonderful group of environmental coordinators and heritage consultants. We are a group of a total of 13 people, of which 8 are environmental coordinators, who intend to grow and become more.

In the role of environmental coordinator, we work on a wide variety of projects ranging from notifications and permit matters for water activities to environmental coordination in road and railway projects, both in the design phase and construction phase, as well as work with detailed and comprehensive plans. Right now, we have several exciting projects on our table, including a location investigation for a new railway in Helsingborg, tender documents for a new shunting yard in Sävenäs, several road plans, and much more. We work in teams together with other competencies within the company to create the best solutions.

About the position

We are looking for an experienced environmental coordinator who wants to develop with us at WSP. In the role of experienced environmental coordinator within Transport and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for:

• Technical responsibility for road and railway projects

• Preparation of environmental impact assessments

• Development of tender documents (FU) for procurement

• Engaging in dialogue, communicating, and consulting with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders

• Contributing your expertise and experience and sharing with junior colleagues

• Working with environmental assessments for detailed plans and comprehensive plans

Responsibilities  As an experienced environmental coordinator, you will work as the technical environmental lead primarily in our infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for leading, organizing, and ensuring that the environmental-related tasks in the projects are delivered on time and with high quality. You are the hub of the projects and contribute your extensive knowledge to

be responsible for the preparation of documents and to have a leading coordinating role with customer contact and close collaboration with other technical areas at WSP.

Qualifications We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree (environmental scientist or equivalent) and at least 10 years of professional experience in the industry.

Significant experience in assignment and project management and enjoy leading both smaller and larger teams.
